In the early evening of May 29, 2023, a tragedy unfolded in the parking lot of a CVS at the intersection of Preston and East Broadway in Louisville, Kentucky. Amanda S. Miller, a 37-year-old mother of three, was fatally shot around 7:30 p.m. The incident cut short the life of a woman remembered by her family as a loving mother to her children, Amihya Miller, DeMichael Harrison, and Akira Harrison.
