In the pre-dawn hours of a Saturday in Lexington, Kentucky, tragedy struck on the 900 block of Winchester Road. It was there, at approximately 3:40 a.m. on February 3, 2024, that officers responded to a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered 31-year-old Chadrik Alexander Boone Sr., a male resident of Lexington, suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical services transported him to the University of Kentucky Hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal.
