In the early morning hours of April 4, 2024, the life of 18-year-old Dennis Ruiz Trujillo Jr., a Hispanic male, was tragically cut short in Lexington, Kentucky. At approximately 1:38 a.m., Lexington Police officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 400 block of Carlisle Avenue. Upon their arrival, they discovered Trujillo Jr. inside a residence, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
