In the early morning hours of September 2, 2022, a domestic dispute in a residence on the 2200 block of Devonport Drive in Lexington, Kentucky, escalated to a fatal conclusion. Juan Mondono Fonseca, a 26-year-old male, was shot during the altercation. Lexington Police officers responded to the scene around 12:55 a.m. and discovered Fonseca with a gunshot wound.
