In the late hours of a Thursday night in Louisville, Kentucky, the life of 12-year-old Justin Johnson was tragically cut short. On June 27, 2024, in the Phoenix Hill neighborhood, the sound of gunfire shattered the evening's quiet. Police responded to a call around 10:30 p.m. in the 500 block of South Shelby Street, where they found young Justin with a gunshot wound.
