On July 6, 2024, a tragic mass shooting occurred during a 21st birthday party at a home on Ridgecrest Drive in Florence, Kentucky. Among the four victims who lost their lives was 20-year-old Hayden Rybicki. Rybicki, a resident of Crestview Hills, Kentucky, was the loving son of Cherri McGuire and the late Dean Rybicki.
