In the early hours of a Tuesday in Louisville, Kentucky, the life of a young man was tragically cut short. Drew Preston Allgood, a 27-year-old male, was found inside a home in the Portland neighborhood on August 6, 2024, suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. Louisville Metro Police had responded to a report of a shooting in the 400 block of North 22nd Street shortly after midnight. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Allgood, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
