In the early hours of a cold Sunday morning in Portland, Oregon, the life of Jack Elliott Craven, a 46-year-old Caucasian male, was tragically cut short. On February 26, 2023, at approximately 3:21 a.m., officers from the Portland Police Bureau's East Precinct were dispatched to the Hazelwood neighborhood following reports of a shooting at the intersection of Northeast 114th Avenue and Northeast Holladay Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered a grim scene.
