Brian Daniel Rendon, a 52-year-old White/Caucasian male from Mill City, Oregon, died on March 20, 2024, after he was shot late that evening in the 300 block of NW Alder Street. Deputies with the Linn County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched around 10:58 p.m. and found the 52-year-old male deceased at the scene. The location and timing set the tone for a swift investigation as patrol and detectives converged on the quiet neighborhood and secured the home where the shooting occurred.
