In the spring of 2023, a violent encounter in Boston's Hyde Park neighborhood tragically cut short the life of 23-year-old Reneil Miller, a Black/African American male. On the night of April 22nd, the Boston Police Department responded to a report of a shooting on Dedham Street. Arriving at the scene, officers discovered 21-year-old Joshua Marshall inside a car, suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
