On a warm evening on July 3, 2014, a Fourth of July barbecue was underway on Windsor Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Among those enjoying the festivities was 22-year-old David Kensley, a Black male. Shortly after 10 p.m., the celebration was shattered by the sound of gunshots.
