On a tragic day in Boston, 37-year-old Richard Long, a Black male, lost his life in a violent sequence of events that unfolded on March 31, 2015. Responders were called to the 300 block of Harvard Street in Dorchester following a report of a person shot. Upon their arrival, they discovered a fire blazing on the first floor of a residence.
