On the evening of May 1, 2019, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of Windermere Road in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood, leaving a devastating impact. Kevin Brewington, a 33-year-old Black/African American man from Allston, was fatally wounded in the incident. The shooting, which occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m., also resulted in injuries to three other men who were with Brewington at the time.
