An 18-year-old male, Fausto Sosa, who was a student at the Boston Community Leadership Academy, was fatally shot in the evening on August 22, 2018. Originally from Santiago in the Dominican Republic, Sosa was described as a kind-hearted brother and a great teammate. He resided in Roslindale but was found by police suffering from a gunshot wound on Hollander Street in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston.
