On December 6, 2017, 19-year-old Jose Montero was shot and killed in a tragic incident near Tremont and Parker Streets in the Mission Hill neighborhood of Boston. Montero was one of three people shot during the attack, which also left two others injured. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Montero succumbed to his injuries later that night.
