On the evening of August 12, 2024, Leudis Mejia Sanchez, a 49-year-old Hispanic male from Dorchester, Massachusetts, was fatally shot in what authorities have described as a home invasion. The incident occurred at approximately 6:42 PM inside a residence located at 5 Trent Street in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston.
