Hispanic male Alfredo "Freddy" Centeio, age 30, was killed in a shooting in Boston, Massachusetts, on Thursday, August 1, 2019. In the early morning hours, at approximately 12:45 a.m., Boston police responded to a report of shots fired in the area of 58 Percival Street in the Dorchester neighborhood. At the scene, officers discovered ballistic evidence and several vehicles that had been damaged by gunfire.
About ten minutes after the initial call, Centeio and another man arrived at
Boston Medical Center in a car riddled with bullet holes. Centeio had sustained fatal gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased upon his arrival at the hospital.
