In the early morning hours of December 30, 2023, the life of Curtis Effee, a 41-year-old Black / African American man, was tragically cut short on a street in Boston. The events that led to his death began the evening before, on December 29, inside an apartment at 417 Geneva Avenue. An argument erupted, involving several people including Effee and a man named Patrick Harland.
