In the early morning hours of December 9, 2015, the life of 25-year-old Wellington Ruiz, a Hispanic man, was tragically cut short on a street in Boston's South End. Originally from Bani in the Dominican Republic, Ruiz was a resident of Dorchester. The incident unfolded around 1:30 a.m. on Aguadilla Street, where Ruiz was discovered suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Responding officers found Ruiz outside of 17B Aguadilla Street. He was immediately transported to Boston Medical Center
