On July 1, 2023, a double shooting occurred in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts, resulting in the death of 30-year-old Nelson Cruet. The incident took place on McGreevey Way, just half a mile from the Boston Police Department headquarters. Boston police were called to the scene at approximately 12:10 a.m. after receiving a report of a person shot, where they found two men with gunshot wounds.
