On July 14, 2024, Andy Baez Manan, a 35-year-old resident of Boston, Massachusetts, was fatally shot in the Jamaica Plain area of Boston. The incident occurred around 10:20 p.m. near the intersection of Arborway and Washington Street, close to the Forest Hills MBTA station. Manan was in a car when he was shot in the chest by a suspect who was on a moped, accompanied by two other individuals also on scooters.
