In the early hours of July 5, 2024, a wave of violence following the Fourth of July celebrations tragically cut short the life of Warren Julien, a 40-year-old Black / African American man from Jamaica Plain. The incident that claimed his life unfolded at approximately 1:33 a.m. in the South End of Boston, near Ramsay Park on Shawmut Avenue.
