On a Saturday afternoon, June 13, 2020, the life of 28-year-old Calvin Boykins, a male resident of Dorchester, was tragically cut short. Just before 4 p.m., Boston police officers were called to 82 Wheatland Avenue in Dorchester following a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Boykins in the hallway of the residential building, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
