He was quickly transported to a local hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

Born in Boston, Kurtis was a 2016 graduate of Randolph High School. He was described by loved ones as a charismatic and vibrant young man with a smile that could melt your heart. He enjoyed basketball, music, and dancing, but his greatest love was for his family. He was a loving, considerate, and loyal son, brother, and friend. Kurtis had aspirations of becoming a registered nurse and owning his own auto body shop, with a goal of furthering his education to provide a good life for his daughter.
