Markedra Houston, age 32, was tragically killed on April 4, 2020, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Houston was found with gunshot wounds after her vehicle crashed into a building on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots just before the crash. She was taken to UT Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries, with one of the bullets hitting a main artery that led to fatal blood loss.
