On January 12, 1991, Chung Wah Son, a 58-year-old man, was one of the five victims killed in the Boston Chinatown massacre, also known as the Tyler Street Massacre. This gang-related shooting occurred in an illegal gambling den located in the basement of a building at 85 Tyler Street in Boston's Chinatown.
