In the Egleston Square neighborhood of Boston, the night of October 8, 2016, turned tragic for a young man full of promise. Carlos Lind, a 19-year-old Hispanic male, was fatally shot in a violent encounter that cut his life short. A student at Greater Egleston High School, just a few blocks from where he would ultimately lose his life, Carlos was known for his humor and athleticism.
