In the spring of 2015, the life of 33-year-old Jeromie Johnson, an African-American man, was cut short in a burst of violence on a street in Boston. On the evening of April 8th, Johnson was inside a vehicle on Richfield Street in the Dorchester neighborhood when gunfire erupted.
