On January 26, 2023, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 3600 block of North Wittfield Street, a residential area on the far east side of Indianapolis, just south of North Post Road and East 38th Street. The call came in around 12:20 a.m..
