Death by Force

On February 4, 2023, 18-year-old Kenzel Bones was fatally shot inside the Michigan Food Market located in the 3800 block of W. Michigan St. in Indianapolis, Indiana. Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to a report of a person shot at the market and found Bones with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. Despite medical services arriving at the scene, Bones was determined to be deceased.
