On a Wednesday morning in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Joyce A. Moore, a 60-year-old White female, was at her apartment with her husband when a knock came at the door. It was February 22, 2023, a day that would end in tragedy. When Moore opened her door, she was fatally shot. The perpetrator fled the scene on foot, leaving behind a home shattered by sudden violence.
