Janet Peters, aged 71, and her husband Richard Peters, aged 75, were found dead in their home in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on October 2, 2021. The Allen County Coroner's Office ruled the deaths as a homicide-suicide. Janet Peters died from a gunshot wound to the head, and her death was classified as a homicide. Richard Peters also died from a gunshot wound to the head, but his death was ruled a suicide.
