On March 30, 2023, a homicide investigation was initiated in Gary, Indiana, following the discovery of a deceased individual identified as 24-year-old Jordan Miller from East Chicago. Miller was found unresponsive on the front porch of a residence in the 4400 block of Delaware Street after police responded to a call reporting shots fired at approximately 1:10 p.m..
