Said Saad, a 47-year-old resident of East Chicago, Indiana, tragically lost his life on August 29, 2022, in a shooting incident at his business, the Happy Tire Shop, located on East Ridge Road in Gary, Indiana. The incident occurred around 5 p.m. when a concerned citizen flagged down a Gary police officer, reporting an active shooter at the shop.
