On June 5, 2024, Seth Montgomery, a 24-year-old man from Gary, Indiana, was found dead in his residence at 5032 Jefferson Street. The Gary Police Department responded to the scene at 11:36 p.m. following reports of a homicide. Upon arrival, they discovered Montgomery's lifeless body in the living room, with evidence of multiple gunshot wounds to the head and torso.
