On a Sunday evening in Gary, Indiana, 30-year-old David J. Shelton was working his shift as a pizza delivery driver for Luigi's Pizza. On November 24, 2019, he was dispatched to a residence in the 3700 block of West Washington Street, unaware that this delivery would be his last. When he arrived at the address, his life was tragically cut short when he was shot and killed.
