David J. Shelton, a 30-year-old resident of Portage, Indiana, tragically lost his life on November 24, 2019, in Gary, Indiana. Shelton was working as a pizza delivery man when he was fatally shot during an attempted robbery. The incident occurred when Terryante Flournoy, 21, and Ciontay Wright, 20, both from Gary, devised a plan to rob a pizza delivery driver to obtain money for a birthday gift for Wright’s girlfriend.
