Death by Force

Deonte Ballard, a 22-year-old resident of Gary, Indiana, tragically lost his life on May 15, 2015. Ballard was shot at his home located in the 1200 block of Aetna Street in the Aetna neighborhood of Gary. The incident occurred late at night, and he was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:59 p.m. Responding officers also found another shooting victim at the scene, who survived the injuries.
