On June 18, 2023, 15-year-old Jeremiah Lewis was found shot dead inside a vehicle in the 2000 block of Lohr Drive on the west side of Indianapolis, Indiana. The incident occurred in a residential neighborhood near West 21st Street and North Girls School Road. Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to the scene around 9:45 a.m. after receiving a report of a person shot.
