In the autumn of 2023, the life of Kevon Maurice Bell, a 21-year-old Black man, was abruptly ended by an act of gun violence in Indianapolis, Indiana. On the evening of Tuesday, October 10th, the city's northeast side was pierced by the sound of gunfire, a sound that would ultimately signify the loss of a young life.
