On October 22, 2023, 37-year-old Mitchell Kent Greathouse of Evansville, Indiana, was found deceased alongside 31-year-old Michael Blankenship Jr. in a residence on Mt. Vernon Avenue. The Vanderburgh County Coroner's Office identified both men, and authorities initiated a homicide investigation into their deaths.
