Wesley Kerr, a 29-year-old resident of Evansville, Indiana, was tragically murdered on December 23, 1954. His death was part of a series of brutal killings that terrorized the region during the early 1950s. Kerr was shot in the head at close range while at work, and the motive for his murder was robbery.
