In the winter of 1954, a shadow of fear fell over Evansville, Indiana, as a series of brutal killings terrorized the community. Among the victims of this reign of terror was Wesley Kerr, a 29-year-old man who was tragically murdered on December 23rd. Kerr, a white male, was at his place of work when he was shot in the head at close range. The motive for this senseless act of violence was determined to be robbery.
