Leonard Eugene Germany III, a 23-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, died on December 17, 2023, as a result of a shooting incident. The incident occurred in the evening when officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) were called to the 5300 block of Butler Terrace, near East 34th Street and Emerson Avenue, following a report of a person shot around 6:30 p.m..
