In the evening chill of December 17, 2023, the life of 23-year-old Leonard Eugene Germany III was tragically cut short in a shooting on the east side of Indianapolis. Responding to a call of a person shot at an apartment complex on Butler Terrace, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers arrived to a scene of distress.
