On January 12, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred at the TGM Autumn Woods Apartments, located in the 8900 block of Autumn Woods Drive, near East 96th Street and Allisonville Road in Indianapolis, Indiana. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officers responded to a report of gunshots around 7:30 p.m. and found 23-year-old Jason Brookshire on the ground in a courtyard with possible gunshot wounds.
