On the night of Friday, January 26, 2024, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were dispatched to the near north side of the city following reports of a person shot. The incident occurred in the 2000 block of North College Avenue, a residential and commercial corridor in Indianapolis, Indiana. Upon their arrival around 10:45 p.m., first responders located a male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
