The incident occurred in the 2000 block of North College Avenue, a residential and commercial corridor in Indianapolis, Indiana. Upon their arrival around 10:45 p.m., first responders located a male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The victim was identified as 34-year-old Ralpheal ONeal Dorsey,
a Black male resident of Indianapolis. Despite the immediate response of emergency personnel to the scene, he had sustained fatal injuries. He was pronounced deceased shortly after authorities arrived, marking a violent end to the young man's life. The Marion County Coroner’s Office later confirmed the cause of death as homicide resulting from the shooting.
