On February 4, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred on the north side of Indianapolis, resulting in the death of 30-year-old Ahmad Xavier Lee. Police officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 9300 block of Ditch Road, just south of Interstate 465, shortly after 1 a.m..
Upon arrival, officers found Ahmad Xavier Lee inside a vehicle with gunshot injuries. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition but was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
