Death by Force

On February 24, 2024, 21-year-old Kobe Stancombe of Bedford, Indiana, was found dead with gunshot wound injuries in the 4000 block of Fort Ritner Road. The Lawrence County Central Dispatch received a call at 5:20 a.m. reporting the incident, and deputies from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. Upon arrival, they found Stancombe's body in a driveway, and his family was subsequently notified of his death.
