An Illinois college student is found stabbed and strangled to death in a gulley in SW Indiana
Bennett Brown, an 18-year-old from Bedford, Indiana, was tragically killed in May 1976 under circumstances that remain unsolved to this day. Bennett was last seen in Chicago on May 4, 1976, after completing his freshman year at Northern Illinois University. He was preparing to leave the city for a job at a boys' camp, although the specific name and location of the camp were not known.
