In the early evening of September 30, 2024, a residence in the 700 block of I Street in Bedford, Indiana, became the scene of a fatal shooting. William 'Matt' Boggs, a 27-year-old male, was found deceased in the bathroom of the home with an apparent gunshot wound. Emergency personnel were called to the scene around 6:00 p.m. but pronounced Boggs dead upon their arrival.
