On March 15, 2024, Mark Miles Jr., a 31-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, was fatally shot in a incident that occurred on the northeast side of the city. The shooting took place in the 3900 block of Ireland Drive, where Indianapolis police responded to reports of a person shot shortly before 11 p.m..
