Mykah Maverick Jackson, a 9-year-old boy from Indianapolis, Indiana, tragically lost his life on June 26, 2017, due to an accidental shooting. The incident occurred on the city's northwest side, in the 7100 block of Warrior Trail, within The Flat apartment complex. According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD), Mykah was shot in the face by another child while they were playing with an unsecured firearm.
